Phillip O’Rourke Guest Presents at Sons of Allen AME Church Workshop on Civic Responsibility in Yellow Springs
Yellow Springs, Ohio — Central Chapel AME Church will host a powerful community workshop on civic responsibility on September 21, 2024, aimed at empowering local residents to use their voices and take action on issues that impact their communities. This event, organized by the Sons of Allen Ministry, is designed to encourage greater involvement in civic matters while fostering a deeper understanding of how individuals can make a positive difference.

The workshop will feature two local leaders: Phillip O'Rourke, Director of the Chamber of Commerce for Yellow Springs, and Kevin Stokes, President of the Village Council of Yellow Springs. Together, they will lead a discussion on how community members, especially young men, can engage more effectively in civic affairs and create lasting change.
